About
MAGGIE MIDDLETON is an artist and printmaker working in Walla Walla, WA. She works primarily in printmaking and painting. Her artistic interests include: the perception and presentation of identity, religious iconography, the macabre, and narrative illustration. She studied collaborative lithography at Tamarind Institute, and she used this training working as the Assistant Printer at Crow’s Shadow Institute of the Arts. Currently, she works as a screen printer T-Walla Walla, while also printing and painting in her own workshop at Chrysalis Studios.
Prior to life in the Pacific Northwest, she received her MFA in Printmaking at the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław Poland. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Oberlin College where she majored in Comparative Literature and Studio Art. She was raised in Reston, VA.
